Simultaneous to the workshops for parents we are providing important opportunities for teens:
ASVAB Assessment:
Students in grades 10-12 will be able to take the ASVAB assessment. This is a career
aptitude assessment administered with a follow up session for test interpretation.
It is a fantastic tool to help students understand various occupational tracks
best suited for them.
ACT Prep:
Students in grades 8-12 will have the opportunity to be given specific guidance
and strategies for mastering the ACT assessment subtests.
Logic and Reasoning:
Students in grades 7-10 may choose to participate in activities that will
strengthen logic and reasoning skills, as well as techniques for
study and notetaking preparation.
This day-long event will be followed by a College and Career Fair in the afternoon. In this relaxed setting parents and students will have the opportunity to interact with representatives who can answer questions and provide guidance for this “next step” in the educational journey.
