The Details
The high school experience for home educators is both exciting and daunting at the same time! This event has been an extraordinary blessing as families have learned how to plan for course credits, transcripts, and options for various post-secondary tracks. The past few years we have outgrown every venue and are continuing to grow!
We are moving this event to October and the location will also change to Summit County. We will hold this event at The Chapel in Green (Uniontown, Ohio) which will be a beautiful location with plenty of room for all participants. We will continue to provide workshop leaders with the expertise needed to guide parents in planning for these important years. We will continue to offer a teen track as well as the opportunity to participate in the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) for career exploration.
This day-long event will be followed by a College and Career Fair in the afternoon. In this relaxed setting parents and students will have the opportunity to interact with representatives who can answer questions and provide guidance for this “next step” in the educational journey.
